AIN Will Bring Dozens of Entrepreneurs and Founders to Capitol Hill This Week to Stress Need for Federal AI Framework that Supports Startup Growth

Washington, D.C. — The American Innovators Network (AIN) today celebrated the launch of the bipartisan Innovators Congressional Caucus, the first congressional caucus committed to advancing the next generation of technological progress in Artificial Intelligence (AI) and amplifying the voices of small and mid-sized companies driving American innovation. As policymakers debate AI regulations, we look forward to the caucus leading bipartisan discussions geared towards advancing a federal solution to promote AI safety, entrepreneurship, and global leadership.

The caucus will be led by Reps. Russell Fry (R-SC) and Rep. Suhas Subramanyam (D-VA), and the launch comes as 13 partner companies head to Capitol Hill in a gathering for startup founders, entrepreneurs, and innovators to meet with lawmakers and discuss legislation impacting AI innovation.

“The formation of the bipartisan Innovators Congressional Caucus does two important things: first, it’s a recognition that small companies and startups will be what keeps America competitive in the AI race. And second, it gives builders in this critical industry strong advocates in Washington who want to promote innovation, competition, and opportunity,” AIN Executive Director Jeremy Kudon said. “AIN thanks Representatives Russell Fry and Suhas Subramanyam for their leadership in establishing this caucus and their commitment to ensuring America’s entrepreneurs have the clarity and support they need to build, invest, and scale. We look forward to working with the Innovators Caucus to advance policies that empower innovators, support responsible technology development, and help entrepreneurs build America’s next great idea.”
